华 华 老 师 is a TV producer/director (specialising in Chinese shows including children’s shows) with more than 20 years of experience and was involved in training of hosts for Chinese programmes as well.
She has undergone the following training:
facilitator training in Mandarin Speech & Drama for kids
facilitator training in US based music-for-kids program She is also a mummy with a love for the Chinese language and aims to help children cultivate a love for Chinese through picture books and build more confidence and passion for speaking good Mandarin.
During her school years, she has taken Chinese as a Language Elective Program (LEP) subject at A Levels and received training in stage drama, including language, facial expressions, emotions and body movements.
In addition to children’s picture books, she enjoys kids photography and loves meeting cute children too!

I personally believe that early childhood learning in Chinese focuses on getting the kids to be familiar
with the tone and articulation when speaking mandarin.
Starting early will allow them to develop the ability of accurate hearing and interpretation of sounds.
*Please be patient and do not expect your child to start speaking and understanding Chinese immediately.
Personal experience: I exposed my child to the Chinese language right from birth on a DAILY basis.
I was patient because I knew she was absorbing all the sounds and words spoken to her everyday. One day when she was 3yo, she started blurting out
Chinese words with the correct intonations. Since then, she speaks non stop and fluently.
She is currently 5+yo (2022).
