Expose your child to one of the most revolutionary manufacturing techniques of this decade, and embark on an exciting journey of discovery and exploration!Â
Kids will learn about breath-taking potential of 3D printing, how it works , create their own virtual 3D models using online 3D modelling program and print their own 3D model!
Our 3D modelling and printing workshop is filled with fun and hands-on activities.
Suitable for kids 6 years old and above. (3D pen option is available for siblings 3 to 5yo, have to book together with the elder sibling)

Basic, intermedia, and advance classes are available.
Learning outcomes:
Basic and common for all levels (1 day, 2 hrs)
1) Describe the features and operation of FDM 3D printer for a safe printing job.
2) Develop the basic knowledge on using Computer Aided Design software.
3) Show the steps for creating a personalised name tag and print it.
4) Bring home name tag.
Fee for 1 to 1: $100
For group (2 kids n above): $90 each
Intermediate (2 days, 2 hrs each)
1) to 4) of basic level
5) Show the steps for creating a bubble wand and print it.
6) Show the steps for creating a lithophane from a photo.
7) bring home bubble wand.
Fee for 1 to 1: $180
For group (2 kids n above): $160 each
Advance (4 days, 2 hrs each)
1) to 7) of intermediate level.
8) show how to do a remix of 3D models.
9) show steps for creating a Plinth or a world famous building/heritage.

1) What is 3D Printing?
It is printing a physical object from a 3D model layer by layer and on top of each other.
2) Why is it important?
We are now in the 4th Industrial Revolution, also known as Industry 4.0. Many new technologies including 3D printing are transforming the industries and affecting how we work and live.
3) Who needs to know 3D printing?
Children – it helps them in the subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. They will have fun learning problem-solving, spatial skills and critical thinking and eventually prepare themselves when they are ready to join the workforce. Working adults – those working in the industries like manufacturing, building/construction, aerospace, automobile, medical, furniture, jewelry/fashion, education, defense and many more. Elderly – we will be having an estimated ageing population of 1:5 in 2030. 3D printing can keep our elderly occupied and this may help them in having good mental wellness. Hobbyists – printing 3D objects to their own imaginations.
4) Is it costly to do 3D printing?
The cost has dropped to levels that even consumers can afford a 3D printer and its materials. It is now possible for every home to own a 3D printer.
